The Storehouse Bideford

Nepalese Childrens' Home (N.G.O) Pokhara

(SEOD Registered Nepalese Charity)

The Store provides significant funding for this well-run home in Pokhara.
It is administrated by a former school teacher from Bideford's Grenville College, Bill Owen.
The home was rescued by Bill from corrupt management nearly twelve years ago and has helped transform the lives of many orphans who are left to fend for themselves begging, or in prostitution on the streets of Nepal.
Some of these children have been abused or are handicapped. All of their practical needs and education are provided by the home, which also reaches out to help the local community, particularly following the Nepalese Earthquake Disaster.

The homes current outgoings are around 1750 Euros per month.
